Follow Up Consultation (up to 1 hour) | $220

This consultation is ideal for parents continuing their feeding journey with us after a recent consultation. Whether you’re adjusting to new routines, navigating a developmental leap or just need to fine-tune a few things - this is your space to feel supported and heard. You will leave with an update to your plan, and for added peace of mind, we continue to offer complimentary phone/email support for 7 days after your appointment to clarify or tweak your updated plan, if needed.

Parents commonly book a follow - up to:

  • Continue oral therapy exercises or post - frenectomy wound care

  • Revisit their feeding plan, as baby’s needs evolve

  • Work through food and symptom diaries to explore food allergies/intolerances

  • Adjust pumping, bottle and other feeding strategies

  • Troubleshoot emerging feeding challenges or recent regressions

Feeding needs change fast and so can your plan. If you’re facing new hurdles, book your follow-up consult to get tailored, up-to-date support that meets your baby’s needs.

  • Yes! Lactation support isn’t just for breastfeeding. As IBCLC’s, we work with all feeding methods - breast, bottle, formula, donor milk, supply lines or all of the above. If you’re baby is struggling to feed well, gain weight, or settle, we can help, regardless of how you’re feeding.

  • If you're experiencing pain, latching issues, low supply, or baby isn’t feeding well, don’t wait! Early support can make a huge difference.

If you book with Brenda within the first 7 weeks after birth, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate across your consultations. After 7 weeks, full fees apply without rebate.

It’s never too early to ask for help and the sooner we can support you, the better your outcomes usually are.

  • Yes. As IBCLC’s and orofacial myofunctional therapists, we are highly experienced in assessing tongue ties. We look beyond appearance to how your baby’s breathing, their tongue, lips, and jaw function during feeding.

We offer comprehensive, evidence-based oral assessments to determine if a tie is contributing to feeding, digestive and sleep difficulties, and we support you with a clear plan, whether a release is needed or not.

We also collaborate closely with trusted release providers and offer full pre- and post-release care to help minimise reattachment and improve feeding outcomes.

  • Yes! We offer virtual consultations worldwide, and they've been a game-changer for many families. We’ve supported clients across the USA, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, UAE, Malaysia - and of course, our wonderful remote and interstate Aussie mums.

Virtual consults are perfect for follow-ups, ongoing feeding support, or families who prefer care from the comfort of home. You’ll receive the same expert guidance, tailored plan, and support—no matter where you are.

  • If you’ve given birth within the last 7 weeks, Medicare rebates may apply. The rebate amount will depend on whether you have reached the safety net threshold - but rebates for an initial consultation can range from $158-$240

Some private health funds also offer rebates - just check with your insurer (note: HBF and HIF are currently excluded).
