General Conditions

The Gentle Village reserves the right to refuse a service or continue to provide a service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your information (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.​

You, as the client, agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the service and information that has been provided to you before, during or after your class/consultation.

Payments for services

​The Gentle Village requires payment a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment. You will receive an invoice of your consultation and travel fee (if applicable) shortly after your booking is confirmed. You understand that if payment is not made before your appointment, and our admin team have not been successful in reaching you, we have the right to cancel your appointment without further notice. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.

Cancellations and refunds for classes and consultations

We kindly ask our clients to give at least 24 hours notice before cancelling your consultation/class.

If you wish to cancel your appointment and payment has already been made, a cancellation fee of $10 (not inclusive of payment fees) is deducted from your refund to cover administrative fees.

Antenatal and Parent First Aid Class

The Gentle Village antenatal classes are taught by a qualified, practising midwife and general educational advice about pregnancy, childbirth and new baby care is given. Individual particular health advice on your own current pregnancy and wellbeing cannot be given and clients must take their health and/or pregnancy queries to their GP, Obstetrician or another appropriate health professional.​The Gentle Village cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from our classes. You are particularly advised to take care of all personal property and possessions.​The Parent First Aid class is a non-accredited class. If you're in need or looking for an accredited first aid training class/course, we suggest contacting St John WA or Australian Red Cross to find out more information on accredited courses.

The Gentle Village respects your right to privacy and will protect the general information that you have provided as part of your application to attend any of our courses. The Gentle Village will protect your data from misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration to the best of its ability. ​Please note that this website may include links to other websites, which are not in control by The Gentle Village.
